Scumbria,
As an AMD investor, this should brighten up your day:

The only thing that will brighten my day about AMD would be if their stock was above $27. Unfortunately it keeps sinking lower. And I have to be honest and say that I never expected AMD to be down to $21-22 ($43 pre-split). I think AMD haven't seen that number since Jan/Feb. AMD is heading in the wrong direction Scumbria. If they don't have the most upbeat forward looking CC, you will see it below $20 very soon. AMD needs to jump start some new higher growth business. They will always be the Intel follower in CPUs. They need to come up with something of their own.

As I said, I'm just looking for some kind of reversal to get out. Long term, as long as AMD stays in the CPU business, they'll always be a follower and under Intel's shadow. Sledgehammer with SSE2 is proof of that. Intel can give AMD a price war whenever they want. This is why Intel has branched into other higher growth markets. CPUs is not going to be where it's at. AMD better find a new high growth niche and fast.
