You have admitted previously that your area of experience is microprocessor design, and that your lack of admiration for RDRAM is based on this knowledge.

I do not have much knowledge about electrical issues on a motherboard, but I have extensive knowledge of the performance issues associated with DRAM. As I've said since day 1, the reason I don't like DRDRAM on a motherboard is because of latency issues.

The main problem with "multichannel DDR" is the number of wires and pins required. I expect that embedded DRAM will be used extensively in applications that require very high bandwidth, because it does not suffer from any of the problems of DRDRAM or DDR in this regard.
