kind of how I'm thinking as well. seems like the market usually likes to surprise when everyone is so sure of which way its going.
everyone shorting now
sort of reminds me of people who were still going
long when the naz hit 5000+.
not that there might not be some significant
further drops yet...
I'm pretty much just watching anyway,
moving in and out quickly til the market
convinces me otherwise.
hard to believe there won't be a significant
short term bounce, even if the downtrend
continues...

to be contrarian to your contrarian <Everybody is looking for a capitulation fall. So it probably won't happen.> my surfing shows too many saying "since everyone is looking for capitulation it probably won't happen " which means that since so many are thinking that, then the other probably will---now see if you can contrary that contrary of your contrary:)max

Stun,
Well said! I have often found that when everyone is yelling the sky is falling, is when it is usually best to buy. We shall see. BTW I would love to come visit your part of the world again. I spent 1979-81 living in Newbury, England courtesy of the US Air Force (RAF Greenham Common). A wonderful life experience and I met some of the nicest people. Cheers
Mike
