Rodney King is a bad example- he was a fleeing felon. There were other people in the car with him, who obeyed the policemen after the chase- nothing happened to them. There was an almost identical incident in Santa Cruz- also videotaped, with a white man, which did not make the national news.

Reginald Green was not a fleeing felon. And look what happened to him.

I have a hard time being very upset about what happened to Rodney King. There are many valid racial incidents I am very upset about (the man dragged to death behind the pick up for example). Rodney King and the OJ case are unworthy examples of "injustice". These are the kind of examples that cause people to question the whole concept of racial injustice- like Tawana Brawley (sp?). There IS racial injustice and I wish the media would examine and make a case out of the truly worthy and valid cases- rather than picking idiotic ones.
