It's looking more and more likely that Rambus will be shutting its doors sometime in 2001 - I think Rambus is finished. What's Rambus stock worth if its IP is invalidated? There should be some
cash on hand, prepaid rents, office furniture, and other odds and ends, isn't there? Does 10 cents a share sound about right?

Probably not enough to cover the postage stamp for the check to be mailed.

Rambus, has brought poison into the playpen. Even if they survive this battle, they will be completely shut out of the next generation. Rambus has signed its own death warrant by going after its own customer base.

If Rambus' patenets are invalidated in terms of SDRAM, and DDR then they would still have some value from the RDRAM patents. I also think they may have some other marginally valueable IP, so even if RDRAM never takes off (or their patent on it is invalidated) they would probably be worth a bit more then 10cent/share.
