Just an observation that occurred to me ... but now that the Japanese have completed the financial year end ... the foreign assets they sold to meet domestic ratio requirements should be finding their way back overseas. I found it strange that whilst the US market continued to struggle, the Nikkei continues to show strength ...but one possible explanation is that they may have remodelled their portfolio allocations ...

Needless to say, if this is a longer term policy change ... its consequences could be considerable for the US markets... though one would logically expect it to also portend a weakening US dollar ... FWIW ...
