Tony,

I find the Compaq number surprisingly low. Do these numbers separate for example Compaq storage products, placing them in non-Intel category?

The article is not very clear, but I would not be surprised if what they call "Intel based" is not "Intel and AMD based", because they are talking in the article about PC vs. non-PC.

Most likely, that is Intel compatible (Intel & AMD) - since Gateway is trying to derive additional revenues from ISP services, etc.
