Paul, Good post, I agree. The Netstructure product family seems to have come together very well, I don't know how they are performing against competition. The other new businesses are ???????. X-Scale could set the standard for handheld device CPU's. John

>re-assert itself in Server CPUs with Foster/Xeons and IA64 products Paul, i've a gut feel you're right (that's why i buy Intel :-) yet i keep hearing arguments that "ia-64 won't work", especially in OLTP environments because of difficulties with pointers manipulations that OOO processors might do better(if you look in my profile you may understand why). Fortunately I am not a marketing guy and I believe I get paid for providing TECHNICAL information. I would appreciate your thoughts on this. Cheers /J
