Jim, today "communist" has become a "dirty word", its social meaning used to be :"everyone contributes to society according to his ability and receives (takes?)from society according to his needs". In the early Christian sects, that was exactly the practice. All that 20th century non-sense about having "the means of manufacturing owned by the proletariat" battle cry is secondary. (VBG).

*** OT *** Jim, my referral was positive unfortunate you misunderstood me.

I personally whish we should live as communists as envisioned by many prophets evidenced in the bible and as preached by Jesus.

The Israeli Kibutz movement was the more accureate interpretation of this vision.

Unfortunately we live in a wilderness with the rule of the jungle and the survival of the fittest called otherwise capitalism.

As to what I think you interpreted as comunism is what Lenin preached, it is dictatorship not communism. Lennin used the concept of comunism to mislead people and come to power. Lenin model was copied by many other tyrans in Europe and Asia.
