You should sell AMD. I base this on your psychology and the reasons you've given to hold. You have all the wrong reasons. I could give you some strong fundamental reasons why their plant is worth less than you think and its earnings yield will be a disappointment, but I won't bother. Obviously there isn't much risk in holding the stock at this point, but it's dead money. Go ask all the stalwart holders of ATHM how much they resent the fact that they bought on the downside and held onto dead money in spite of all the bad signs indicating they should sell and take the loss. There's nothing worse than dead money. Busted is better. Believe an old pro on that.
