<<Michael,
risking the entire business for a lousy 2%

You honestly believe that Infineon is at risk of losing their business over the Rambus lawsuit?

This thread moves in an alternate universe.

Scumbria,
What happens to Infineon it it has no license to produce SDRAM, DDRAM or RDRAM

If they have other business components I stand corrected.
BUT that portion of their business is TOAST!

P.S. If Infineon loses in court I would put them out of that business if I was Rambus. I believe that would set a nice tone for the rest. Damn quick capitulation I would think.

The very best I would allow was a rate on SDRAM at 4%, offering 2.5% to the rest of the industry, provided of course they signed within 30 days.
