ciVic, That makes sense, and that's also the target of the center tine from the fork originating at the Aug low. What worries me still though, is that all the major indices are at, or even a little below in the case of the Dow, really important long term support. You might say that that's what makes it support but some external event could hurt us bad here - an oil shock? another Yom Kippur war? both?

rectangles don't make lower lows but do imply follow through of the current trend (down).
