gdr, i understand platinum has a # of industrial uses, too. good luck. metals have been beating up people for a number of years. nobody said buyin' low was easy ;-) Skeeter, Platinum has lots of uses. Buying low is not easy I agree. I am just trying to figure out why someone would want to pay 7.5 times the price of a 14 karat white gold chain (since they wanted a white look and white gold is the same price as yellow gold) when the white gold chain is plated with Rhodium to begin with which looks exactly like platinum. People should buy whatever they like but that makes no sense to me. That is worse than buying Ariba LOL...<VVBG> Glenn
