Ron Reece: "And it may explain why the markets have been so tepid this fall as the race has tightened and the chances of a Gore victory increase."

Or it just because Greenspan has everyone so frigging nervous that everyone's waiting for everyone else to make the first move.

And so far, any "first move" exodus from a stock causes a panic.

I have been wondering for awhile what correlation there is between the loss that some of the big players are experiencing and the increased "interest" expense. One would have to look at the Profit And Loss of a few big players, and I find EDGAR so tedious that I haven't bothered looking.

(I wouldn't want to give Gore undue credit.)
