I think you should give as you are moved to give ... it all belongs to God of course. You can call me Barry -- I don't mind folks using my name online. I started using it (tippet) a while back when someone was pestering me ... In hindsight, When I have lacked something or was prevented from obtaining it -- sometimes it has been for my own good. Going through a difficult time on my job right now -- God's working on my attitude. Today in the worship I was moved to read Isiah 53 as we shared communion -- to win by giving everything up -- this is a concept very foreign to the world and sometimes to christians, too ... much of the last few weeks I have been thinking about what my rights are ... there is a balance in our relationships with others, but not with God ... got to be discerning. I've been fogged lately, to be honest ...
