Ca is a wonderful state and those of us that got here several years ago and bought property are sitting pretty today. Those that are arriving today are met with a huge cost of living. I know of people that were transferred out here and left quickly due to the high housing costs, etc. Many people are living an affluent life-style but many are not. Salaries are high but the corporate politics are high powered so life can be stressful out here. If you can make it and run with the antelope then there's no better place to live than Ca.
