Nightowl, The suit in the US was filled by Hyundai (not Rambus) in the California courts. So your statement of "the legal course that RMBS has charted from the beginning" is wrong since Hyundai charted that course in the US. Rambus instead now has taken over the helm. So now you can say that Rambus is charting the course ;-) So Rambus gets their cake (venue change) and cherry on top (will file suit against Hyundai for alleged willful patent infringement and will seek injunctions to halt the sale, manufacture, and use of Hyundai SDRAM and DDR).
