<even if their journalist employees are largely filthy commie unAmerican swine>

Maurice:

You obviously have a much deeper understanding of the U.S. media than I had thought. A thousand apologies.

Actually, Mqurice, the American press is not the LIBERAL DEMOCRATIC MONOLITH as has been stated here several times.

While it is true that there are studies showing the majority of reporters vote Democratic, I think it would be a sucker bet to think that would also be true of the various media ownership. Rupurt Murdoch a liberal? Ted Turner? It is to laugh. HA!

People who own billion dollar corporations tend to be Republicans, as, I suspect, are many SI contributors. People who own billion dollar corporations also get unhappy with lowly reporters who print/broadcast stories that undermine the value of the advertising, so it does not happen that often.

The great liberal media conspiracy is greatly overstated. Another example of, "If you cannot convince them with the facts, dazzle them with b#ll$h%t."
