Sylvester,

I have it on good authority that the Navy wants lots of Windows 2000 and Pentium 4s due mainly to the applications they will be running. Not all, but lots of them.

Who is the authority? What is the performance of P4? What does Windows 2000 have to with it? Why were you making claims yesterday about RDRAM being part of the deal? Who are you?

Yesterday you made claims that this was a $17 billion dollar deal (wrong.) You said it involved P4 and RDRAM (no mention in any press releases.) You said that the Navy is allowed to ignore Government procurement requirements. You claim to have inside information about the deal (we have no idea who you are.)

Best of all, you claim to know what the performance of P4 is, and you own AMD stock. With this killer P4 supposed to have been coming out in two weeks, how could you possibly have purchased AMD?

And before you answer with another of your cr@p posts about having purchased AMD for the short term technical bounce, please reread your post to me from just over a week ago, where you said you were "long AMD".

Scumbria,
I should also mention one other thing. I sure hope that the Year 2001 earnings change for the better for AMD. I'm long AMD at $27 and I would like to see their stock much higher than $27. However, I'm not blind and I don't think that will happen till after those 16 analysts start raising their 2001 estimates. And that may not happen till after the Dec quarter.
Why did I buy at $27? I thought we had reached the bottom. Clearly, I was wrong. I hope $24-25 is the bottom and that AMD beats the current quarter estimates of 61c.

Are you long AMD as well? Maybe we do have something common ;-)

You have woven quite a tangled web over here. Do you really expect anyone to take you seriously?
