I may have forgot to put it in when I was getting dressed, I do that when I am in a hurry sometime and then go around all day with only one earring until I notice it. What a relief, because I went back to the store, People's Pottery, which sells hand-made and unique items like pottery and handblown glass and folk art, and asked for the address for the manufacturer, and they told me I couldn't have it, that I would have to order a replacement through them. Which I thought really sucked because when I bought the earrings, they gave me a slip of paper that gave all the info on the artist, and congratulated me on my good taste. They said I couldn't have another one, but that's ok, I found it on the floor of the bedroom, too. Kiwi likes to get up on the bookcase and bite the end of her tail and go around and around in a circle knocking things off the bookcase onto the floor. The knocking things off is accidental, I think.
