August, The advanced search feature will be arriving at Silicon Investor shortly. In addition to highlighting searched words & phrases, the actual engine will be very powerful (examples are searching using phrases, truncated words, AND/OR/NOT, and a few other cool ideas specific to SI-searching needs). We're hoping to release advanced search this Thursday. If that date slips, I'll post a note here explaining why. Thanks, John

August and all - I meant to sent an update on advanced search yesterday evening. We're having trouble making the "highlighted text" function (the feature that highlights the word you were searching for in the results) perform properly in a production environment. The feature is working, but just not quickly enough. Therefore, we spent yesterday and today removing this feature for the beta version to release tomorrow (insteady of yesterday). We should be putting it back in sometime before the beta ends or for the full-scale release. -john
