Paul, re:<where are the cries of "paper launch" for 1.1 GHz Athlon> In San Diego amongst the screwdriver shops advertising in ComputorEdge 2 advertise prices for 1.1 GHz Athlon systems, 8 more advertise a price for the 1.1 GHz Athlon CPU 4 advertise prices for 1 GHz PIII systems and ALL of these also advertise Athlon 1 or 1.1 GHz systems at lower prices 16 advertise prices for 1 GHz Athlon systems Interesting that there are six 'Intel only' dealers left in San Diego. NONE of them sells anything faster than 866 MHz. Petz
