Frank, you are a decent man, with good instincts, but you occasionally let your partisanship cloud your judgment. There is no "real talent" in Bush, and certainly no leadership quality, as was painfully evident in the debate. Simply go back eight years, and compare Quayle's performance against Gore. While not an intellectual heavyweight in his own right, Quayle had a sense of purpose, and assertiveness for his beliefs that is utterly lacking in Bush. Didn't it bother you when Bush interrupted himself several times, and Lehrer had to tell him to go ahead and finish what he was saying? Is letting himself be distracted like that a sign of the confidence you expect from a leader? Do you let yourself be squelched like that at your business? I doubt it, and this man wants to be President!
