OT: Hi Bosco, I don't know how this MM discussion became the topic of conversation. :)

Everyone has their own opinions of drugs, alcohol and mistakes. I don't take advice from ex-cons or drug users. They all have hard-luck stories, feel-sorry-for-me-alibis, and a desire for everyone to give them a pity-party. They should just join up with the democratic party if that's what they want. I just want to make money.

I don't trust anyone but myself.

Regarding the financials on CDO -- I really don't know what to make of it. I would just be guessing if I gave an opinion. Obviously many of their venture holdings are valuable, but beyond that I really don't know. SFE/CMGI/ICGE also have valuable holdings, but they are different animals. What extent is the 10/31 fiscal year selling impacting CDO?

In summary, I have no idea.

OT: Bosco, I conveniently forgot to concede your accuracy! :)

Yes, I normally don't invest in companies that have a debt load like CDO. CDO isn't, has never been, and never will be a core position for me. Too many moving parts with too high of a debt load creates a situation that is to difficult for me to evaluate completely.

I did however feel confident in the valuation of CDO with all of the equity investments (both pre and post IPO).

I had concerns that I voiced directly to management. They were kind enough to personally respond. I respect them greatly for that.

1) The interest to service the debt will be going up due to the drop in credit rating, 2) possible telecom venture losses, and 3) the current management team concern me.

I thought that I would publicly admit I agree with your thoughts that I had veered away from my investing protocol. I did. I thought the positives outweighed the negatives.

You made some excellent observations about me and my lack of discipline. Thanks for the public humiliation! :) Just kidding.
