probably OT

I find some of your comments intriguing because of some long term research and opinions ive been doing. It seemed to me the disappointing returns of the wireless telecom group is fundemenatally based. My thoughts though look at the cellular/palm type industry and wonder if the lack of new applications and services have made the consumer less likely to either adopt or upgrade. ie people like the palm V better then Palm VII.

It seems though that a number of new products and services my be in the ofting 12 to 18 months from now. Combining cellular and palm type functions, HDR internet connections, Bluetooth/802.11 technology, whether CDMA lite is vaperware etc.

It seems most institutional investors do not have the luxury of looking out 12months so us individual investors may have a slight edge in positioning an industry before they become in vogue again. (sometimes WAY to early ;^D)

Since you have offered your opinion about future products whats your take on the general industry maliase and 12mo outlook. Are any of these products and services likely to be main stream by end of next year. Anything for the masses that would lead them to say . " well its time to dump this ole thing and spend the couple hundred for the new one because.....I am not really looking for the esoteric view of technolical infrastructer hardware, much more of an end user view. Thanks for sharing

How do you feel about the encapsulation of 10GbE in SONET's OC-192 for the long haul? Also, what do you think about the next step up in Ethernet being 40 Gb/s (to fit into the OC 768) instead of 100 Gb/s, which would ordinarily be the next power of ten up from 10 Gb/s?
