So how'd a party comprised of "extreme left zealots and the ignorant" manage to defeat such a well balanced, well educated and very articulate, extremely well financed Republican Party both in '92 and '96? For that matter, how come the Year 2000 polls show a race so close? You really think Americans are so dumb that they'd so easily pick "extreme left zealots and the ignorant," over fine gentleman Republicans, to lead our nation 12 years in a row?

Perhaps you should revisit your statement and reconsider your viewpoint.

It is true that when I think of the people representing the Democratic party it is difficult to think of any real solid thinkers or producers in the party. I am sure there are some but they are not evident. There are some "deep pocket" people who support them but then they are just buying access and influence over the democrats whose strings they pull.
