Re: I wonder why it says PC100 when it should be PC166? Or is tha some trademark thing... I have never seen 6 ns ram before actually.

It says PC100 because at the time these DIMMS came on the market that was the only official socket they could be used in. Currently, Samsung is showing SDRAM available to 183MHZ (5.5ns) and Micron shows it available up to 200MHZ (5ns). The fastest off the shelf DIMMs I've seen continue to be 166MHZ which are used by overclockers, the faster chips listed (183 and 200) are used mainly in video cards - since Intel has been literally suing companies that try to ship chipsets that support the faster grades of SDRAM, as well as not offering any such chipsets itself. That particular dam is breaking, (thanks to the leadership shown by AMD, VIA, Micron, and others) but the notion that Intel has been leading the industry to faster memory is ludicrous - Intel has been doing everything it can to slow down the Industry's adoption of faster memory.
