the BVSN that I just sold for huge loss ... in my own portfolio also ...
there is no REASON, for it too be at 20 vs. whatever it's high was ...

but I guess my point asking how long to keep losers is NOT the fundamental value ... but more the 'perceived value' and how low it could go ...

for instance I looked at BVSN very hard for many days ... as it kept heading lower and lower

and to be honest ... there is no fundamental reason that it could not fall again to 10 dollars
or 5 dollars ... at this point..... or hit 50 when the market changes direction

If the bear ends tomorrow .... I will be screwed ...

but if this continues for another week or whatever ... I may have saved half my equity that was still left in it.

This is only my justification of selling at a huge loss

.... re FNV ... have mentioned another similar (perceived) company before ... blah blah blah ... anyways ... Dan set a technical analysis stop at 6 1/8
well ... it did not hold ... investors ... are still out there ... with long long memmories

so what good is T/A if one does not adhere to it?
