While the price performance on the previous post between the 2 periods are similar in magnitude, the earnings outlook couldn't be different. In 97/98 it was horrible and now the outlook is very good. The "market" mood is very nervous, but it does not show up in the earnings projections as the table shows. The "sum of 2 yr earnings" was put in to highlight the huge difference between the 2 periods. Look at totals, 97/98 outlook was for 6.01 for 2 yr earnings, now the outlook is for 112.02 - a 1760 percent increase, yet the group is "tanking" - time for a rebound?
