The reason the democrats win, in many cases, is they have created a dependent constituency who feel they must vote democratic because the democrats will "look out for them" and establish programs for them. The demos effectively create a democrat economic slave constituency. They don't encourage and give a hand up. They do give a hand out. Which would you prefer, a hand up and out of poverty or a hand out and eternal relegation to poverty?
