<<Why give any tax relief to the multimillionaires in this country?....they don't need it.....plain and simple. >>

Across the board means everyone is treated equally. Bush's plan treats everyone the same. That top 1% pays 33% of all taxes. Multimillionaires tend to invest venture capital. That tends to create companies and jobs. The more they invest the better the jobs. The more the rich are taxed the less they invest as venture capital and the more they move into offshore, non taxed accounts.

They don't need the relief but it does help the whole economy. Bush's plan also helps a larger, hell almost everyone. Gore's plan only gives deductability for college to those who make $60k to $100k and only for one child. A family making $65k has 4 kids, who goes to college?

I may vote for Gore. I have never taken money on a farm program because I didn't need it. The one he has now, I signed up. I get $8,000 of your money for nothing. Yep, welfare for ME. I do nothing and I get $8,000 of your money. I didn't even ask for it, it was forced on me. When you pay your taxes, think of me. I'll spend your $8,000 on whiskey and wild women and not waste it on savings. Thanks, smooch.

Then why not confiscate everything from everyone who "does not need it?" Who makes the decision what people need? You? Al Gore?

This philosophy has its roots in socialism. It does not work.
