Sue,

This thread was built on the principals of honesty and integrity and many of us have been together almost as long as SI has been on the Internet. I have always been honest with people that ask for my opinion on a stock. I don't tell them what I think they want to hear. I don't think that this has offended anyone in the past, and in fact, I think it has contributed to the respect that I earned on SI. I haven't been as active on this site as in past years, so I don't get very many questions anymore, but when I do, I always tell people what I really think and don't try to pacify them. My point in all this rambling is that I think that we should all feel free to say what we want about some else's positions. You will probably get a better reception if they ask for your opinion, but I don't think anyone would take constructive comments that are stated in a respectful manner in a bad way. At least I don't think that they should. On the other hand, I don't think that someone should sell a Z holding just because somebody else doesn't like it.

Dan

I don't know what put a burr in your thong this weekend but it is good to have a lively interchange
right now none of us know what 9:30 monday will bring

when times are tough sometimes more honesty comes out, or not, I'm not sure
but on this thread after four long years if we cant listen to each other pissing on a parade yet still enjoy the friendship and the interchange then something is wrong

way way back we did have a lot more mutual input over a stock idea, but times changed
most of us drifted off to where our individual trading during the day sent us and maybe where each of us felt that we could do a bit better in our own portfolios then just here on this thread
but I for one still think this thread is about the most honest stock/cyber/interchange that I have found

for me if you dont like an idea or a trade that I toss out then go ahead and piss on it
I may not like what you say but will take it to heart, even if 90% of the time I then ignore what you say
the other 10% i may listen and save some $'s
and I'll still respect you in the morning, either way

fingers crossed that this week treats us better
