Texas is democrat. It's just not 100% democrat. It's conservative, pure and simple. Democrats mistook Texans for party loyalists because they had always and only voted democrat. But as ee cummings said in I sing of Olaf..."there is some sh...t I will not eat" and they quit. But local politicians, judges, on and on, often run unopposed as democrats. The dems lost on many issues with Texans, but Texans won't much lay claim to bein republicans. It's just that librals of this here stripe lately smell like skunks roun heah.
