Go over to the Gorillas and Kings thread:

Subject 25851

Its probably the best fundamentals thread on SI and I think has a large following and has had some influence. They really do analyze various companies in some depth. That's where I first decided to invest in QCOM....however, later on, I did much speculative call buying, and rolling out calls (in that crazy brief period of its massive runup) based purely on momentum.

Teresa, interesting and I think authentic post. For me at least, a first-tier stock should have a positive analyst following, rapid rev growth, hopefully earnings growth or prospects of which, a position in a high-growth sector, an important advantage being a gorilla therein. After awhile, if you keep reading and doing so confirms your initial expectations, you realize there is no buzz for no reason. Certain stocks rise above the fray.

ps. You were slammed so unfairly on the aol thread. Congrats for hanging in there. And keep up your quality work!
