Every politician has certain character flaws. Every person does. The question is which character flaw most affects the job of being president.

Gore - sometimes exaggerates (insecure, ambitious)
Bush - often lazy, can't retain details of policy, leaves the hard work to others.

Those are the two most obvious ones. Both men are a product of nepotism but Bush much more so. And Gore showed character by volunteering for Nam even though he was against the war. He's also the penultimate family man.

Bush showed none by getting dad to get him off and playing hookey from Alabama guard duty (which he still won't admit). Bush is also a recovering alcoholic and coke user. He may have changed but a lot of brain-cells have been killed. And this showed his own kind of insecurity.

Basically what bothers me about Buish is that sometimes he just doesn't seem to care. About anything. Until it's competition time.
