Bush lied at least twice during the debates. One when he said our military isn't ready. Two when he said Gore had out-spent him. Bush has out-spent Gore by a considerable margin.

Michael--Though I disagreed with your positions, I liked your extensive previous reply to one of my earlier posts. However, I really think you oughta get off the pat line rap of "Gore's a liar." That liar spin stuff is just marching orders emanating from the top down of the GOPwinger smear strategy. Plus, spinning out a line like that isn't exactly good for school aged children whoi are learning about their government. Too frequently I think that the Republicans do not realize what they do, that they have no idea how they spread the sex scandals into our livings; that they have no idea when they tag a candidate who has won the test of his party's nomination as a liar, that there becomes a degradation in the process of civic government and what participation within it is all about.
