Many of Gore's so-called "lies" have turned out to be true. The biggest one the GOP blames on him is the "I invented the internet". He simply never said it. The GOP lied blad-faced about it and I'm surprised they've been able to get so far with that attack. Gore said "in congress I took the initiative to create the internet". The real inventor of the internet from MIT in the 60's I saw interviewed and he gave Gore full credit along with one other congressman. We might not be chatting away now if it weren't for Al, but no one seems to give him credit.
