Hello Bill. Still working on my DSL. My Win98 refuses to restore and install. I now notice that this holds true for other things unless I download from the internet and then it does not always work, as I find out now. I think I have not downloaded that much stuff all year. Probably just as well because: This market is getting worse. Maybe next year I will be out of the market in Oct.

I thought Yahoo did alright today but pundits are not satisfied. They beat the whisper number, revenues came in on the high side and page views exceeded estimates. Alright, so analysts are squawking about advertising. They are not happy that 40% of the advertising comes from .com cos. I mentioned analysts. One in particular has been hard on Yahoo for some time. Holly Becker of Lehman Brother. I just brought this up because it will do some more harm in the NAZ tomorrow, I am pretty sure. Globex is already pretty red.

And wow. LU is now warning about their warning. Instead of earning 27 cents, they will come in with 17 or 18. So, this will probably hit stocks in that sector. It already did in after hours.
At least I sold my LU at 53 when it warned the first time. Should have done this with more of my stocks. But now you feel again that you have to hang in there. I sure hope I will not have this feeling until all my paper profits have evaporated.

Mot looked alright to me but not quite as alright to analysts. So this sector got hit also and who knows what tomorrow will bring. Hopefully I am painting this all too black.

If the NAZ was down 34% last time it got hit, it certainly set a record today. I believe the number is now 36% and we have tomorrow to go. Sheesh.

Well, we should have a nice up move one of these days, I'd guess. When, is heavily debated by analysts and TA guys. Probably if I throw in the towel and sell some stocks. gg.
