Yes, I was aware of the news on EGLS that drove the price down in after hours trading, but all prices are based on regular hours closing.

The SOX-X is a 16 semiconductor stock index of which 4 stocks in the tables I show are included. These stocks are AMAT, KLAC, NVLS and TER.

I don't know if you can trade the index or not, perhaps another reader of this thread can answer your question.

Though not exactly a proxy for SOX, SMH is a fairly good representative of the semiconductor industry. It trades on Amex. You can get more info on it from www.amex.com and going to HOLDRS section.
