Tough concept Mike?

Given his intelligence level, yep.

In, not one, but TWO of his weekly updates this year, he has mentioned the SEMI book-to-bill number and said explicitly that it refers to finished semiconductors, rather than equipment.

A howler like that from a Silicon Valley analyst who has LSI, INTC and AMAT on his recommended list is just incredible. The guy is... well, a clown.

Bobcor:

Man, I couldn't agree more. My little indicators just keep on sinking, which isn't surprising, given the dependence on consumer debt take-up for almost any purchasing.

Methinks the N.American consumer continues to pull in his horns, and in the absence of a really big bounce in this market, Christmas could be a lot thinner than in the past.

Best, Earlie
