Petz-- I don't know how many times I have to hammer this. First off, AMD didn't exist 32 years ago. If we change your statement to 30 years ago, AMD did GREAT 30 years ago. In fact, AMD did GREAT 20 years ago. Outperformed Intel to 1984 in fact (it started with a smaller market cap, however). Your statement should be "I care what happened 30 years ago; I care what has happened in the last two years; I don't care what happened between two and sixteen years ago."

You mean stock performance?

From March 1997 until today is a much better picture of stock performance.
