The "Laws in this Country" do not happen to apply to this forum in the same way they would if you were say on a soap box in Washington Square. SI is a private enterprise and members have the use of these forums as long as they stay within the guidelines of the terms of conduct... I regret having to break the news to you, rudedog, but the laws in this country, which you curiously place in quotation marks, implying that they are somehow irrelevant, apply to everyone in this country - even ill-mannered posters here at SI. I am not too concerned if I win any popularity contests here. That is not the point, and never an objective of mine. Those who know me well would laugh out loud at your implication. I agree with you it appears I have violated certain peculiar conventions here, from the response I have received. I would characterize those "conventions" as rude, ill-mannered behavior, argumentative nonsense based in nowhere and nothing related to any logic whatsoever, and clearly deceitful prattle from those who have a certain ax to grind. That ax is precariously situated at the moment, and what we are seeing here at SI are the acts of desperate criminals. If you wish to give lessons in conventions, my friend, perhaps you will look inwards, instead of at those who pursue truth. Finally, I "press" nothing. It was not I who began this discussion. However, I will not stand by and have this site which I have known well for a long time be taken over by charlatans, prevaricators and other rabble. Olivier L. F. Asser
