Here's a preliminary earnings list for companies in the broader fiber optics sector: NEWP: October 18: newport.com SDLI: October 19: sdli.com NT: October 24: nortelnetworks.com GLW: October 24: corning.com NUFO: October 25: corporate-ir.net JDSU: October 26: jdsuniphase.com ALA: October 31: alcatel.com CIEN: October 31: ciena.com CSCO: November 6: investor.cisco.com Not competitors but customers whose earnings could impact the sector: JNPR: October 12: juniper.net AVNX: October 19: investor.avanex.com CORV: Week of October 16: investors.corvis.com SCMR: Is a month off (FY ends July 31), but their events calendar is worth a glance: sycamorenet.com ONIS: Also one month off: oni.com There are others, but this is a start. As for the newly public companies I've mentioned, I have as many fears as hopes for the impact of their reports. If anyone slips, it could trigger an Iaxis-type response.
