Thanks Ed for the link. I was on the Symantec site reading about some of the installation problems.Sounds like I may have fun with 2001.

Thot maybe it was time to empty the cache on the new browser, but I can't find it. There's no Tools/Internet Options & entering either Cache or Temp Files in Help brings up nothing.

By chance, do you know how to handle this? Thank you

Have now installed SystemWorks 2001 apparently without mishaps. It does require you to remove all your other Norton products. Live Update did get the new virus definitions. It is also telling me there is an update to the virus program but will not install it. Not sure if that is accurate. Been testing other features and they all seem to be working fine.
