This month's Smart Money magazine named Verizon "The One Telecom Stock You Need Now." "It belongs in every investor's portfolio. Is it in yours?"

They admit that even they were surprised that Verizon ended up as #1. The "candidates" included AT&T, BellSouth, SBC, Sprint, Qwest, and WorldCom.

Hi Andrew, That I'm not sure about at all. What the charts are saying at the time would have some influence as to whether or not that takes place..... If they are overbought at the time, then I would suspect that pressure would be put on the stock price. Yogi
