LONGBOAT KEY, Fla., Oct. 8 –– Vice President Gore launched a two-pronged, final-month attack on George W. Bush today that will use ads, Web sites and bus tours to lambaste Bush's record in Texas and lampoon what Gore's campaign calls the governor's "bumbling babblings."

Gore himself plans to stick to his own issues and follow tradition in presidential races by dispatching his running mate, Connecticut Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman, as the attacker-in-chief. After the presidential debate Wednesday, Lieberman will head to Texas for what Gore's campaign calls a "Failed Leadership Tour."

"Governor Bush has caved in to polluters and powerful special interests, ignored the health care needs of families and children, and endangered citizens by failing to enforce the state's concealed-weapons law," Gore spokesman Doug Hattaway said. "The American people deserve to know."

Another Gore aide, Chris Lehane, called problems with Texas air quality and the availability of health insurance for children "a window into Governor Bush's priorities."

"The governor will be held to presidential standards when it comes to the explaining of his public policy views," Lehane said. "Thus far, he has not met the Quayle standard. Bush has shown a consistent pattern of making major-league mistakes when attempting to explain the unexplainable or defend the indefensible."

To state it simply enough, so that even YOU can understand it:

I've read more TRUTH from The Washington Times, NewsMax, and DRUDGE in the last 7 years than I've EVER read from ANYONE associated with the corrupt KlintonGore regime.

That is fact. And, more and more citizens are becoming aware of that fact.

Even the left-leaning major media are beginning to realize the reasons they are losing audience.
