DARBES,

AMD going from 8% to 12% in Europe does not explain Intel missing revenues by $300 million.

Of course, I'm not buying this "Europe" excuse that seems to be the latest cop out when a company has problems.

DRBES,

<I JUST HEARD ON CNNfn A REPORT THAT AMD MARKET SHARE, IN EUROPE, HAS GONE FROM 8% TO 12% IN THE PAST TWO MONTHS.>

Isn't this a number someone posted a little while back (a Register article about European market research?).

Doe anyone know what segment this is? Consumer? Commercial? Combined? Something else?
