right brainers/zoning req's/kabom vs.soft landing. well said; election yrs always baffle me on the local platform. if could be the same reason i am baffled by this downside in mr. market. during election time, when i experience zoning denials or conditions placed on the properties ( more during these times than any other 4 yr cycle) i can loose the deal. you struck me with your thought re: zoning requirements placed into writing. yes, yet local elected officials make the rules to change, deny, place into moratorium or approve a zoning case. they my friend do what is best for themselves rather than the commercial marketplace. having experienced the nonsense locally which have cost me several deals , once the election is behind , it becomes easier w/in a yr to obtain the zoning, make the deal , close and flip. IMHO , once the debates are complete and corporate amurica is finished paying tickets to see mickey's team or goofy's team win' we will see this 4th qtr. market jump reacting as a optically wired smart bldg, shiney, pristine clean ready for tenant occupancy. your thoughts?
