WEll- let's see:
1. I am not comparing, THEY are comparing. I just posted the data because it was interesting. I'm not sure what conclusions you can draw from it- I don't believe I DREW ANY. You may not know this but some car "accidents" are actually suicides- and thus intentional. It's hard to know exactly how many.

2.Cars are probably USED more often than guns, wouldn't you say? So we'd have to norm for that. Every trip in the car, versus every time you get a gun out to use it (rather than using discharges). Many guns (I hope) are locked up in wall safes- something people don't generally do with cars.

3.Draw your own conclusions.
