RMBS--Just one person's stolen opinion........ I agree that the Infineon filing is a factor...it's just one more uncertainty, and the nervous NAZZ amplifies that. But I don't discount the manipulation factor in today's trading. The MMs have fairly good idea of the the proportion margined, and where lie the stop-sells. And as surely as some intent to make money watching RMBS go up, so on days like today a good deal of tree-shaking is going on. The volume is not that great... and I wouldn't be surprised if more than half of it was simply stop sells triggered this morning, owned by folks who aren't at their screens.
